Prop Money for Corporate Events and Trade Shows

Where corporate events use prop money

Product launches, trade show booth photo moments, staged prize reveals and corporate video shoots all reach for cash visuals to signal value and success — the same instinct that drives money content on social platforms, applied to a brand context. Real cash is a security and insurance liability around a public booth or an open event floor; prop notes deliver the same visual with none of that risk.

Branding the money itself

For a launch or a campaign, custom branded prop notes put a logo, a fictional bank name or a bespoke denomination directly on the note — a far higher-impact piece of branded content than a generic stack, and unmistakably promotional rather than presented as genuine currency. Runs start at 250 notes with a proof before printing; see the custom prop money guide for the full process.

Staged photo moments

Trade show booths and product launches often want a table spread or a briefcase reveal for booth photography and social content. A pre-dressed briefcase money set arrives foam-fitted and ready to open on camera, and gold foil novelty notes work well as premium-feeling giveaways or prize-table dressing where the intent is clearly decorative rather than a cash prize.

Two rule sets to respect

Corporate use has to clear the same RBA reproduction guidelines as any other application — reduced scale, clear prop markings, no reproduced security features — and it also has to avoid implying a genuine cash prize or guaranteed payout, which is where platform advertising policies get strict. Keep any prop-cash prize visual clearly staged and never described as real money changing hands. See our advertising and social campaigns guide for the detail.
